The curtains and shutters were flimsy and difficult to operate quickly. The service was a mix of unhelpful and friendly staff, with some struggling to fulfill simple drink orders. However, they all had smiles on their faces. The location was convenient for exploring Vannes, with easy access to free parking and onsite dining options, but it lacked attractiveness being situated between a suburb and a commercial zone. The dining experience offered a good choice of quality food, although slightly pricey at nearly £12 per person. The hotel had lovely outdoor terrace and gardens, adding to the ambiance and providing a pleasant place to relax. The overall value for money was a bit questionable considering the higher dining costs.
